Consistent implementation of the Safety Management Plan,
Ensuring HSE and operations receive equal priority,

Industry/contractor workshops, audits and recognition schemes,
Review and provision of adequate resources,
Prompt and involved response to incidents/near misses or identification of significant hazards,
Attendance at HSE meetings,
Setting performance goals to support the concept of continuous improvement in HSE.

Commitment to HSE is part of the Klau Geomatics Pty Ltd management requirement and essential for the continual development of an effective HSE culture. Klau Geomatics Pty Ltd ensures that HSE management is coordinated at senior management level and accepted by all personnel.

The Klau Geomatics Pty Ltd safety management strategy is detailed in the Safety Management Plan.

The system has been designed to incorporate all of the elements presented by AS/NZS 4801. The system also includes environmental, employee injury management and quality sections.

The Safety Management Plan identifies critical interfaces with client systems such as:

Daily operational reporting requirements
Emergency arrangements
Project communication
Incident reporting requirements
Statistical reporting requirements
Hazard reporting requirements
Task Risk Assessments (TRA)
